28/4/17 - Head's weekly message and letters
28th April 2017 | Head's Weekly Message |

Dear Parents and Carers

I am delighted to inform you that in addition to Mr la Grange being shortlisted for the Pearson Award for Lifetime Achievement, Mrs Cramp is among the finalists for an Excellent Teacher Award. These are very prestigious awards and as a School we are very proud to have two members of staff going through as finalists. We wish them both the very best of luck.

We had a fantastic evening on Tuesday celebrating the Art Exhibition at Watersmeet for the third year running with Councillor Andrew Scarth attending. I hope that many of you were able to go and see the amazing artwork by our students. We are proud to inform you that one of our students has been offered a place at the renowned Central Saint Martins in London.

May I remind you to complete the Kirkland Rowell survey that was issued to parents last week. I appreciate you giving your time to complete them; they provide valuable information to us on how well you think we are doing and how we can improve the things that are important to you.

Yours sincerely

Mr K Douglas, Headteacher
