8/9/17 Head's weekly message and letters
8th September 2017 | Head's Weekly Message |

Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome back to everyone.

I am delighted to report on the achievements of our students at A Level and GCSE. Whilst nationally we have seen a slight decline in results, at Rickmansworth we have seen our GCSEs go up by 8% at the A*-C level with the School achieving 88%. Well done to all those students and good luck to our Year 13, many of whom are joining top universities in the country, including Oxford and Cambridge.

Here at School the expansion plans are well under way and rather than modernising the old gym block we are planning for a complete rebuild. Further information will be coming to you on this.

There have been some queries regarding the new locker system; please click here to view the letter sent to parents last term.

Thank you for everyone’s help and support and I look forward to working with you for a successful 2017/18.

Yours sincerely

Mr K Douglas, Headteacher
