Welcome back and happy new year to you all.  I hope you had a good festive break.

Year 13 are currently undertaking their trial examinations.

The first of our suite of free workshops for parents and carers takes place on Monday 15 January at 7pm in the Hall, on the subject of Internet Safety. This is a very relevant and informative evening and is currently in the news at the moment. Please see the flyer for more information. It is important to book your free place at https://www.trybooking.co.uk/DGW

Our 100-cast ensemble production of Lord of the Flies is coming up at the end of January and is a show not to be missed! Tickets are £5 Adult (£3 Concession) and can be booked at https://www.trybooking.co.uk/DFF.

School Expansion:
The demolition of the old building has been completed.  They are now modifying the existing foundations and we will see the new timber framed construction during February half term.

Finally, may I draw your attention to the new PE and Fitness Suite timetables published this week. See the letters link below.

Yours sincerely

Mr K Douglas
