29th June 2018 | Head's Weekly Message |

Dear Parents and Carers

At the end of year some schools may slow down, but not Rickmansworth! We have a lot of events coming up which will ensure we end the School year on a high.

I am delighted to announce that we will be opening our new Reception on Thursday 5 July. I hope you agree it is looking fantastic and certainly enhances our welcoming and professional image. There is likely to be some temporary disruption to phone communications as our new system takes over from the old. Please do bear with us if this is the case; we will do our best to be up and running as quickly as possible. An emergency mobile number will be available on the day on our website homepage, but please do only use this for genuine emergencies.

I sincerely apologise for our issue setting ScoPay up to receive your kind donations for the Wall of Bricks. We have now set up a VirginMoneyGiving webpage which is quick and simple to use. Should you be eligible for Gift Aid, you can opt in online and do not need to complete a separate form. Click here for the engraving order form. Thank you to all of those who have donated so far – I myself donated at the weekend.

Sixth Form Induction Days
Sixth Form are holding their Induction Days on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 July. Students have activities planned with the KS5 team and will be attending taster lessons.

Year 8 This Girl Can Day
This Girl Can is a celebration of active women and girls who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets. The project is designed to help women and girls overcome the fear of judgement that is stopping many from joining in.  All Year 8 girls will be taking part in the ‘This Girl Can' day at Rickmansworth School on Monday 2 July.
