14/09/18 Head's Message & Letters
14th September 2018 | Head's Weekly Message |

Dear Parents and Carers

Tomorrow is the first of our early closing time in Week B. As promised we are offering our opt-in study club in the Sixth Form Study for all our students. If students wish to attend, parents must email their Deputy Head of Key Stage to let them know of this intention. Please note that once registered, the student will be expected to attend all sessions – this is not an ad-hoc drop in group. We hope that the time spent doing in study club at school reduces the time spent doing home learning at the weekend.

For those parents who are new to the school, please note that we, for the most part, do not email letters applicable to all Year groupsdirectly to parents. This is in order to minimise the number of emailed letters you receive from Rickmansworth School. These letters are added to the website in our Letters page, and in my Thursday Weekly Update you will be able to scroll down this message to view all the messages sent out, and click on the link to access the page. Any letters applicable to your Year group, Form or Class are issued directly to that group via GroupCall email, and will also be published on the website unless private/sensitive. This week, please note our letters on the Arriva Bus Service, Instrument Hire and Ricky Reads.

Please note that a letter regarding results and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) will be coming out shortly.

Our systems are all working correctly after a short period where our updates were not working correctly. Thank you for your patience bearing with us if you were affected by this.
