14/12/18 Head's Message & Letters
14th December 2018 | Head's Weekly Message |

Dear Parents and Carers

I am aware that you have received a number of alerts this term regarding students being approached by adults whilst commuting to and from School.  We liaise very closely with the Police regarding these incidents who support our policy to inform parents when such events take place.  I appreciate that such messages can be alarming but have no reason to believe that these incidents are related.  Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to deal with this matter as effectively as possible and the Police respond to these incidents to the best of their ability with the information provided.

Year 11 trial exams continue; we wish the students the best of luck as they continue into their final week.

School Closure Notification System
May I draw your attention to the letter on the School website requesting new parents to the School to sign up to Everbridge for notification if the School is closed due to emergency or adverse weather conditions.

57 students from Year 8 visited Berlin last week. Highlights included visits to the Olympic Stadium, the Reichstag (German Parliament building) and our partner school in Spandau where many of the students have penfriends.
