Dear Parents and Carers

MFL Factor – Year 7

The MFL Factor on Wednesday was a fantastic event, with the biggest turnout of students and parents ever attending with standing room only!  Congratulations to 7Sp2 for being the well-deserved winners, and to the 2 Spelling-Bee finalists Max Michael (winner) and Lexie Leyland (runner-up).  Over £600 was raised so thank you to everyone who contributed and to the students and staff for such an enjoyable evening.

Year 9 Options Evening

This was a very successful evening with many positive conversations held with parents.  I hope this has helped you and your son/daughter to make final decision over subject choices for next year.

Spring Concert – Thursday 14 March

UCAS Conference – Wednesday 13 March

Following a successful Destinations Day in January, Year 12 students will be taking a further step to deciding their future study when they attend the UCAS Exhibition at Brunel University on Wednesday 13 March. Along with the School’s introduction of UniFrog, this event gives students the opportunity to gain a greater insight into studying at a Higher Education Institutions.

Evening of Dance – Wednesday 20 March

The Dance department will be hosting an “Evening of “Dance” in the new Ricky Play House at Rickmansworth School, on Wednesday 20 March at 7pm. Tickets are free! Watch out for a GroupCall coming shortly with more information about this event.

Herts for Learning Drug & Alcohol Workshop - Tuesday 26 March

The next in our series of parent workshops aims to improve parent/carer confidence in having conversations with their children about issues surrounding drugs and alcohol, including health and the legal implications.
