Our two Young Enterprise Companies Vivid (Year 10) and Impact (Year 12) continue to have great success. Both have finalised and are selling their products and are showing profits already—no mean feat in the current economic climate.

On 25/26 January, both companies participated in the Trade Fair held at the INTU shopping centre in Watford, where they had the great privilege of running market stalls for a whole weekend. A tiring, but worthwhile, exercise where they were not only able to develop many invaluable skills (such as customer service, presentation and team building) but also sold significant amounts of stock to the general public. Impact with their beautiful, hand decorated IPhone cases, and Vivid with their ingenious products made out of recycled records.

Impact and the INTU Trade Fair Team Vivid, made up of 18 Year 10 students, also came away with the added bonus of three Young Enterprise Awards: Most Innovative Product, Best Trade Stand, and Overall Company of the Day! A real achievement, and both companies were a credit to the School.
