Rugby

The rugby season so far has been disrupted by the bad weather. Three consecutive Saturday mornings have fallen foul of the adverse conditions with fixtures against St Clement Danes, Parmiter’s and Kings Langley all having to be re-arranged. These, and the rest of the matches, will all be re-scheduled for after half term.

The annual Chess Cup fixture this year is on Wednesday 19 March. Good luck to the Under 16 team who are in training at the moment as we look to regain the trophy from St Joan of Arc. The fixture takes place at the Croxley Guild of Sport for a 4.00 pm start. Support is always welcome.

Basketball

Many basketball fixtures have now been played in the new sports hall and the impact of the new facility can be seen across the teams. Our newfound shooting ability has led to a number of high scoring games, the best being the Year 10 team beating Francis Coombe by 64-22 and the Senior team beating the same opposition by 54–12.

The Fitness Suite

Over 300 pupils have now been inducted into the fitness suite. The pupils are now able to access the facility before School, at lunch time and after School. Pupils without inductions can come any lunchtime and a member of staff will complete the process with them. Remember, with the exam season on the horizon – “Healthy body, healthy mind”.

Cricket

The School cricket season will get into full swing early this year with indoor cricket nets starting after half term. Please see the School website for details of times and days of practices.
